Cold Stone Creamery in Valrico

While this store does provide good quality desserts, they tend to over load the cone or cup. This always ends up spilling melted ice cream in your car. Lines are always long it takes typically 25 minutes or longer from walking in till leaving to complete your order. The specialized service they provide does cause that, but perhaps use business management skills to reduce this would be my advice. All on all nothing making this my good to dessert location. But they are nice people and try hard with what they have. So I encourage others to give it a shot.

Gross, hair found in ice cream after I was almost finished eating it!! Rude workers as they did not acknowledge me when I walked in. I was the only customer in the store to simply pick up my online order.

Just placed an order with Uber eats and was cancelled.... I called cold stone in Lithia to know the reason and their answer was that the restaurant was too busy.... I guess I’m not a costumer 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️ Terrible!!!!

Service at this location is Garbage! Placed an order & paid in advance for my daughter's 17th birthday on Sunday, July 5th, to be picked up today on her birthday, July 9th and left without the cake. I find issue with this manager because the lack of management skills was displayed from manor in which the employees handled the situation. They initially tried to give me an $11.00 order for a $35.00 cake. Then when it came down to it the cake wasn't even at the location, it was at the Riverdale location and still wasn't ready. What happened to the courtesy call to let me know my order was having an issue? Slack quality from top to bottom. Can only make you wonder about the quality of the product. There are plenty of other places to choose from, feel free to pass this one on the way to those.

In the past, there was particular ill-mannered employee who worked there. Nowadays, I haven't seen her lately, and the staff is now friendly. Coldstone ice cream is the best that there is!

The employees at this location are more than willing to go above and beyond to meet customer needs and wants, even when it’s not in their expected tasks. Marissa always has a happy welcoming face that makes your wonderful experience one to remember and sets Coldstone Creamery apart from all other stores. My favorite part about visiting this location is after leaving a small token of my appreciation in their tip jar, they are never to busy to genuinely thank you and welcome you to come back in again.

A Smoothie Planet and Stone Cold Creamery in One! Amazingly cheap smoothies at about $5 for any size, so there's really no reason to not get a large. Best of all, if you go there and you see Humza, then you're in good hands. Extremely friendly individual who is very warm and friendly. Great service and Great goods!

Staff is always friendly, store is always clean, great ice cream. Way better than toppers.

This was my first time ever going to Cold Stone and I won't go again. The woman who took our order wasn't wearing a name tag and didn't have an apron on. She kept having to look at what the ingredients were for each orders and when she started mixing the ice cream she literally did just that. She swirled the ice cream around a little bit and then slam packed it into a cup which it was over flowing out of and melting everywhere even with a lid on. When my husband ordered she rudely said "you getting anything?" Then after she crudely made my husband's ice cream she handed it to him and, again, rudely said "we ran out of lids" and the ice cream was melting everywhere. Not a napkin offered or anywhere in sight. I normally wouldn't complain because it's just ice cream but she was so rude and seemed like she was just trying to hurry and get us out of there. I honestly wish i could rate this "no stars" because it was THAT bad.

The staff here is wonderful. If you haven't been to a Cold Stone before, you are missing some incredibly amazing ice cream. I'd strongly suggest trying one of their preferred mixes first, but you're obviously welcome to try whatever mixes you want. The "Cookie Don't You Want Some" is my favorite! Enjoy!

Cold Stone Creamery catered dessert at my husband's 50th birthday party. The ice cream, toppings, and staff were fantastic. Highly recommend and will definitely use again at future parties.

The Planet smoothie side is bad. Very watery smoothies and some staff has no idea how to make them. Never ordered another after it took a worker 20 mins from start to finish to make my smoothie. Some trips are good on the coldstone side but some workers are EXTREMELY slow. 2 in particular have worked here for quite some time and still act like they have no idea what's going on. Overall it's good icecream but be prepared to wait.

The ice cream itself is amazing, but man are they understaffed. They have teenagers behind the counter which is fine but they seem to have little authority over them so they completely ignore your presence until they have to acknowledge you. I've been in line and watched multiple people walk out after 20 min of waiting with no acknowledgement. One person will be helping customers while one is in the back randomly coming out to grab something then running back out of sight.

This is the best cold stone I’ve gone to! And I am an ice cream fanatic. There’s just something about how creamy the ice cream is here. It gets me every time. The employees are always very nice and helpful. Especially Marissa was the best. Recommend 10/10

During my experience at coldstone I was politely greeted with a enthusiastic coldstone welcome from the hardworking employee Gigi! Honestly I’ve been to many ice cream shops and many of them are not good with service but when I walked into coldstone Gigi really knew what the customer experience was all about! I really appreciate that and I will definitely be coming back!!! PS. I love the singing when you tip!

The toppings were all on top of the ice cream. Not mixed up at all.

We went there for my wife's birthday treat. It just so happens one of the staff was a former student of my wife! The customer service was great ( they did an impromptu bday song), the ice cream selection were delicious. Even the customers joined in on the sing along. Overall great experience!

Today at 5 pm on December 29th I went to this cold stone to enjoy some ice cream. There were two girls working and about 6 customers in the store. Both were very flustered and took almost 20 minutes to serve us. Both girls had no plan to make the line move any quicker as they were arguing and on their cell phones while they should have been working. Finally we ordered and they mixed our ice cream with the same spoons they had previously used without cleaning them and therefore crossed vanilla with chocolate. Very unprofessional service.

Usually we have a good experience here, but today was different, everything was good until one of staff said to keep our kids quiet. We we're with some friends so our kids were playing with each other of course you are going to hear the kids talk and play. On top of that we were the only folks in there.. I get it if other folks were there eating ice cream as well. I wouldn't want to disturb others.. this really wasn't necessary to approach us like that. Disappointed with the service, sad that I tipped them.

The service at this location is always very good. The entire staff is very good but the one employee goes above and beyond for her customers is Pauline (AKA DJ Paulie D). She always does a very good job and cold stone is lucky to have her.

Given I dont have option to go negative..have given 1 star,totally UNPROFESSIONAL folks.These guys messed me two times in single day through UBER delivery..ordered big size cookie cream cake..and what I got is a cup size peanut butter ice cream, .on top,on call they were UNPROFESSIONAL, Never recommended, if you have some specific events,they can completely ruin yours like they did mine....

The ice cream here is great! If that’s all I care about, I come here. If I’m looking for cleanliness and a nicer place to sit, I’ll go father to the one in Brandon near Providence/60 area. The employees are different almost every time I’ve gone in, so you never know what you’ll get with this location. Sometimes they’re skimpy, while other times you get more than you asked or paid for, really varies. I’m interested in trying one of their ice cream cakes at some point—they look awesome!

This cold stone is by far the best. Taber is so chill. Best worker there. They need to give this man a pay raise for putting the company on his back.

I went into coldstone Monday and was served by Chelsi. She Was very friendly and help my sister and I very well. She was extremely nice to us and helped us pick out the perfect ice cream...definitely a five star visit and five star dessert.

Went two days in a row with my daughter, and ordered the same exact thing both days. The prices were completely different and I wasn’t offered a receipt either day. Asked the clerk why the prices were completely off after, and wasn’t provided with a logical reason, needless to say we won’t be returning to this location. Super shady!!!

Staff are rude , no type of friendliness.. you’ll ask to add extra toppings of anything no matter what it and I don’t mind paying the extra ... and they still won’t do it .. most of the time you have to remind them the toppings because they have this mad faces on .. I’m so disappointed at this location and the sad part the I try to go different days maybe to see if they’re in a better mood but nope they still rude ... one thing I can say this is my last time going there ..

I usually don’t have problems with this cold stone, but today was not a pleasant experience. The man who served me did not have the best costumer service, he was not wearing gloves as he served the ice cream, and I found a piece of paper in my ice cream.

It was a nice time. The young lady there was working really hard. She seemed to be alone working. But she was very efficient and had great customer service skills. Will definitely go again!

Recently ordered a birthday cake. Went in advance and provided specs. Went to pick up the cake and it was poorly done. Name misspelled and missing ingredients. This place might be ok for a quick stop to get some ice cream, but do not recommend purchasing or ordering a cake!!!!!

Last Friday I visited this location only because my little cousins wanted ice cream.... I was dreading taking them but as soon as I walked into the ice cream shop the ladies were just AWESOME! Being so sweet to my little cousins and the ice cream was so delicious. I don’t live near this location but I will definitely be coming here more often.. Also one of the ladies that was working, I believed her name was Melissa maybe Marissa she was awesome her greeting and enthusiasm to serve us was great ! Thanks cold stone ! Absolutely delicious ice cream.Makes you want to go back for more. Had the Cheesecake ice cream with Blueberries today. Decadent! Wonderful to sit outside and enjoy every little last bite!

What can one say about a store named Cold Stone. You really can’t tell what exactly it is until you go in.Basically, they mix your ice cream with desired toppings on a refrigerated marble slab. If you are gluten free, this cold slab is not cleaned, but scraped off in between orders.We really love the sorbet. The ice cream is very rich here, like cake batter. We always get the “like it” which is the smallest size.A good place to start is with a pre made selection. Last night I Mint Mint Chocolate Chocolate Chip. It was quite tasty.I gave this establishment a 4 because the wait can be long and sometimes the floor is sticky.

This was my first experience at Planet Smoothie because I’ve heard a lot of people rave about the amazing smoothies. I brought my daughter in Monday morning to order a smoothie but was unsure of what to get and while I asked the employee questions, I felt belittled and did not like her tone of voice. After I ordered and she began making my smoothie, my daughter excitedly began ordering her ice cream. The employee turned around and talked to my daughter with a very rude tone “hold on I’ll be with you in a minute let me finish this first”. I understand she was the only one there and can’t do two things at once but from start to finish the tone in her voice was rude and uncalled for. The quality of the food was good however the customer service was a turn off. I do not think I will be returning back to this store anytime soon. Extremely disappointed that a store known for customer service treats customers like this.
